HANDCRAFTED LEATHER BELTS
Run your fingers across 10oz full-grain American Leather Direct leather and you'll feel the difference. Dense, rugged, and cut from the strongest part of the hide, each belt is cut, shaped, and finished by hand in our Poulsbo, Washington workshop where we've been making leather goods for over 5 years.
The Forever belts are built from a single piece of full-grain leather. They're finished with a solid-brass buckle with natural brass and nickel plate finishes and double cap rivets.
Every Forever belt is backed by our lifetime warranty.
BUILT TO GET BETTER WITH AGE
A Forever belt doesn't wear out, it wears in.
With time, the leather softens, deepens in color, and develops a rich patina that reflects how you wear it. It gradually molds to your waist, becoming more comfortable and uniquely yours.
Unlike bonded leather belts that can crack, peel, and separate with age, a full-grain leather belt is made to handle years of everyday wear.
WHY DEMING BELTS LAST
- 10oz full-grain leather — Cut from the strongest, densest section of the hide; along the spine. Never sanded down or bonded together.
- Handmade in Poulsbo, WA — A single craftsman cuts, and finishes each belt in-house.
- Purpose-built construction — The Forever belt uses a no-stitch, single-piece construction.
- Solid brass hardware — Chicago screws let you swap the buckle, add a hole, or shorten the belt at home.
- Lifetime warranty— If your belt ever breaks due to a manufacturing or material defect, we'll repair or replace it.
Leather Belt FAQs
Where are Deming Leather Co. belts made?
Every Deming Leather Co. belt is made by hand in our workshop in Poulsbo, WA. A single craftsman, burnishes, and finishes each belt in-house. Nothing is outsourced: the same man that finishes every edge also quality-checks every belt before it ships.
What leather are your belts made from?
Our belts are made from full-grain leather, selected from American Leather Direct for its durability, feel, and ability to develop character with use.
Unlike synthetic materials, quality leather changes over time. With regular use, your wallet will develop a unique patina, becoming softer and more personal the longer you wear it.
How long will it take to get my order?
Each belt is made to order by hand, one at a time. We are able to make your wallet and ship it out usually within 1 week time from order placement.
What happens if I don't like the belt?
If your purchase isn't right for you, you can return it within 30 of delivery, provided it meets the conditions outlined in our return policy.
To start a return, send us an email at demingleather@gmail.com and we will take care of you.
Do leather belts stretch over time?
A little. Full-grain leather is a natural fibre, so expect roughly 1-3 inches of total stretch over a lifetime of daily wear. Every Deming Leather Co. belt has five holes spaced 1 inch apart, so the stretch is easy to accommodate, just move to the next hole.
We will add an extra hole free of charge if yours stretches beyond the top size, just ship the belt back.
How do I care for a Forever Belt?
Never put a full-grain leather belt in a washing machine, heat and detergent will strip its natural oils. For routine cleaning, wipe the belt down with a slightly damp cloth to lift dust, then let it air-dry flat at room temperature.
For deep conditioning, work a pea-sized amount of our leather balm into the strap with a soft cloth in small circles once or twice a year, that’s enough to keep the 10oz American Leather Direct full-grain supple for decades. Don’t overdo it; more balm doesn’t mean better conditioning.
Avoid direct heat like hair dryers or radiators. Leather shrinks and cracks when force-dried.
What size Forever Belt should I buy?
Order your pants waist size plus 4 inches. If you wear 32-inch jeans, order a 36-inch belt, that puts you on the middle hole of the five on every Forever Belt, with room to adjust in either direction. We offer sizes 30″ through 54″ in 1-inch increments.
See our Belt Sizing Guide for measurement diagrams.
Do leather belts last longer than fabric or bonded belts?
Yes, a high-quality leather belt like the Forever Belt will last longer than fabric or bonded leather belts, especially with regular use and proper care.
Leather is a strong, natural material that can become softer and develop a patina over time while still maintaining its structure.
If you're looking for a belt designed for years of everyday wear, a well-made full-grain leather belt is a great long-term investment.
